Offex Mail generates a random, temporary email address that lives for a short window — long enough to receive a signup confirmation, a one-time password, or a verification link, and not a minute longer than it needs to. There's no registration, no password to remember, and nothing tied to your real identity. You open the page, get an address, use it, and let it expire.
Most "just sign up to try it" moments on the web ask for an email address before you've decided whether a service is even worth your time. That address usually ends up on a marketing list, gets resold, or becomes one more thing that shows up in a data breach years later. A disposable inbox breaks that chain — the service gets an address that works exactly once, and your real inbox stays yours.
Every Offex Mail address forwards to a private mailbox behind the scenes. When a message arrives, our backend checks who it was addressed to, matches it against active temporary addresses, and shows it to you in the inbox view — nothing more, nothing less. Addresses and their messages are kept only for a limited window (shown live in the app) and are then permanently removed.
Offex Mail is not meant for anything you need to keep — banking, long-term accounts, password recovery on accounts that matter, or any conversation you'd want to find again next month. Once an address expires, its messages are gone for good. See our Privacy Policy for exactly how long data is kept.
